The ACCEYSS Network and Model was conceptualized by Dr. Shetay Ashford-Hanserd in 2017.

​

In her dissertation research, she discovered that churches are valuable institutions to engage more people in STEAM and computing education.  

​

Therefore, the ACCEYSS Network is building a network of faith-based and community organizations as community partners.
